If you find yourself showing signs of burnout. You may want to start making lifestyle changes to prevent your physical and mental health from deteriorating further. Here are some ways to deal with burnout:

Take care of your health. 

When you work too hard or have a lot of work, you may not have time for lunch, not exercise, sleep less, or sleep late. Getting enough sleep, about 7-9 hours/day, may help improve your health and your life. In addition, eating a full meal regularly and choosing only healthy foods, focusing on foods with good fats and protein, may help calm the body. Also, avoid coffee and sugar, which can increase stress and make symptoms worse.

Don’t try to think of yourself as a superhuman who can do everything. Even though sometimes your supervisor may think that way, they often rush you to do work that takes a lot of time but sets a short deadline. Many people may want to take responsibility for completing the work to impress. However, don’t forget that the human body is not a robot and cannot solve the company’s problems alone. Moreover, doing so may make you feel pressured and increase your anxiety. Therefore, you should consult with your supervisor to find a good solution together. If you don’t find a solution, the problem may become chronic and have negative effects on your mental and physical health in other ways.
