Barcelona players held a moment of silence before training on Sunday after first-team doctor Carles Minarro died.

They were due to play Osasuna on Sunday but the game was postponed just 20 minutes before kick-off.

Barca confirmed the news of Minarro’s death on social media and today before training the players held a moment of silence for him. Minarro

died in his hotel room, and the news came as a shock to the team, especially the Barca players. The Barca

players arrived at the stadium unaware of Minarro’s death, and after everyone was in the dressing room, Joan Laporta came to break the bad news.

Many players have posted messages of condolence to Minarro, with Pedri posting: “I still can’t believe it. My thoughts are with Carles’ family and friends.”

Rond Araujo also posted: “Can’t believe it. May he rest in peace doctor. โปรโมชั่นพิเศษจาก UFABET สมัครตอนนี้ รับโบนัสทันที. My thoughts are with his family and friends.” May God give you the strength to get through these difficult times.”

The Catalan side are now in talks with La Liga to find a suitable date for their game against Osasuna, but it won’t be easy as they are in the running for several trophies –

if they are eliminated from the Champions League early, there could be a free window next month, or they could have to wait until May before the season ends.
